Device needed to measure body temperature, when this is high it indictes presence of an infection.
There are 2 types:
- Digital thermometer – these are fast and easy to read. Can be used under the arm, in the mouth, or in the rectum
- 3 Way thermometer – used for room temperature, water temperature and also body temperature measuring by the ear.
