Cold sores are painful blisters which can develop on both lips, with a sensation of burning or itching.
Medication should be started as soon as the tingling of the lips begins as now the Herpes Simplex virus has just made an appearance.
Apply the cream after food, and stop one or two days after the lips have healed. Use a clean finger to apply the cream and the treatment should be for 4-5 days.
