Internal Pain Relief

This is for the relief of mild to moderate pain. These are for patients over the age of 12 to 16 years old, intended for short term use only, not on a regular basis. There are many cautions with each medication, so please read the label and ask staff any questions.

Do not take more than the labelled dosage in a 24 hours period.

The pain relief medication stocked are Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Aspirin preparations as single units or as a combined tablet or capsule.

Paracetamol – Treats nerve pain.
Ibuprofen – Treats muscle pain take with or after food.
Aspirin – Treats high temperature or fever (antipyretic) as 300mg Tablets and as 75mg Tablets for blood thinning. Take with or after food.

External Pain Relief

Patches

These should not be applied to the skin directly. But put directly on light clothing over the affected area.
The patches are all drug free and provide pain relief during the day.
